In what I consider one of the toughest creative challenges I have taken on, I had only one week to edit a full documentary for the opening of Northern Marianas College’s new Student Center. The film needed to set the tone for the ribbon cutting ceremony and remind everyone why this moment mattered. It walked through the events of 10.24 through the eyes of different witnesses, tying their stories together in a way that brought back the emotion, the reality, and the resilience of that day. It strengthened the connection to NMC’s journey and deepened our appreciation for the new building and the campus we have today.
